As the holiday season approaches, Thrive is excited to announce the return of the Holiday Shop! This initiative provides participants with access to affordable gifts for their loved ones, ensuring everyone can experience the joy of giving.

This year, we invite our community to join us in making this event a success. We are seeking donations of new gifts and stocking stuffer items to fill our shelves and spread holiday cheer. Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact and helps create a memorable holiday experience for those in need.

Whether you can donate a thoughtful gift or fun stocking stuffers, your generosity will be deeply appreciated. Together, we can make this holiday season brighter for our participants and their families.

What’s Thrive’s Holiday Shop?

Thrive’s Holiday Shop allows participants of Thrive to shop for their loved ones and acquire new items at an affordable price. This initiative has been supporting participants with their holiday shopping for many years, and we are anticipating a lot of folks accessing the service again this year!

Items should be in new, unused condition. Original packaging is not required.

Holiday Shop

We are particularly in need of presents:

  • For Kids (Toys, Play Sets, Clothing)
  • For Teens (Games, Gift Sets)
  • For Adults (Household Items/Decor, Pajamas, Slippers, Bedding, Art Supplies)

Items for people of all ages are greatly appreciated! You’re welcome to donate handmade items as well. (Knit Items, Embroidery, Pottery, Art, Quilting).

Stocking Drive

We need your help again this year to make the Holidays extra special for the participants involved with Thrive! We are asking for donations of items to stuff our Street Reach stockings.

Suggestions for Stocking Drive:

  • $10 Gift Cards for Sobey’s or Tim Hortons
  • Deodorant
  • Body Wash/Soap
  • Toothbrushes/Toothpaste
  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Razors/Shaving Cream
  • Warm Hats & Gloves
  • Chocolate/Treats
  • New Underwear
  • New Warm Socks
  • Pads or Tampons
