Mandate:

To improve lives and build community by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action. United Way Newfoundland and Labrador distributes funds to charities province-wide who are seeking financial support for various projects they are unable to fund independently.

Target Population:

United Way Newfoundland and Labrador supports charitable projects, programs, and organizations all throughout our province, that help to move people from poverty to possibility, helping kids be all they can be, and ensuring our communities are safe, healthy, and vibrant places for everyone. 

Highlights of Programs/Services Offered:

  • United Way Newfoundland and Labrador partners with Businesses, Corporate supporters, and workplace donors to raise funds that are directly invested back into the most pressing needs in our province.
  • Partnering with UWNL provides donors to raise funds that are directly invested back into the most pressing needs in our province. 
  • Partnering with UWNL provides donors with an opportunity to help a number of organizations and services and supports volunteerism. As an impact organization, United Way collaborates with local charities to ensure pressing needs are met.
