GivingTuesday Canada

Many people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday … now GivingTuesday is coming to Canada on December 3, 2013 and Thrive has joined the movement!

It’s a new national day dedicated to giving and volunteering that takes place each year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  The “Opening day of the giving season,” GivingTuesday is a day when charities, non-profits, businesses, families and individuals join together across the country to rally for favorite causes and think about others!

This movement celebrates giving and encourages more, better and smarter giving and volunteering during the giving season.

We encourage you to be part of GivingTuesday!

You can get involved in many ways from volunteering your time, making a donation, or even just sharing this page with your friends, family and co-workers.

We are looking for donations of:

  • Stocking Stuffers to brighten Christmas Day for our young people
  • Warm Winter Coats and Boots for Street Reach
  • Gifts to stock our Christmas Store so our young people can experience the gift of giving to their loved ones
